88 CRX Starter reads "PO6" clicks but won't crank. HELP
Basically a friend bought this 88 crx for $200, not running. Wiring is kinda hacked, it looks like it had some kind of swap at some point. It does have the stock D15B2 tho.
The starter has the big positive terminal going straight to the positive battery terminal, of course, but the other little terminal goes inside the cabin, to a switch, and then back out to the positive battery terminal So you have to turn the key and then click the switch and then the car will "start"
It clicks very loud. Almost like it's the wrong starter. It reads xxxx-P06-xxx or something like that, but it does say P06, is this supposed to read that? Do we have the right starter?
