i just got my hands on some Aries 8.1 pistons and shot ping rods. any one have any experience on these? what kinda boost were you running or what shot? how did it run all motor? thanks ~

 

That compression is way too low for our engines. Also, it isnt called shot ping.

All motor on some 8:1 slugs is going to be sluggish.

 

im running LS. im not intrested in all motor just curious how its gonna run.im currently running direct port 100 shot, i wanna know what others have jetted on these pistons if anybody has. thanks.

 

well usually the lower the compression the better suitable for turbo...... but that its a little too low for a ZC to run in a satisfactory way... for a daily driver witht the ocasional No2 shot, its not good.. it will be good under No2 , but not while u drive normally .....
