Default NITROUS and 11.8: compression ratio

im gonna be run n a LS/VTEC motor with 11.8:1 compression ratio (GSR head mated to LS block with JDM P30 pistons) and will be spray n a 75 shot. is this too much compression for nitrous????
currently im run n a full LS motor and the compression ratio is a 11:1 with the P30 pistons. im run n a 75 shot on it with no problems

nitrous loves compression, just make sure you have enough motor octane in the fuel.

nitrous loves compression but stock cast pistons dont like n20 that much.

i would be carfull running that much compression and n20 with those pistons......make sure you have it jetted on the rich side.......very rich.....

100% correct, cast=bad

but compression loves nitrous, and so on. i would start at a 50 and watch the plugs and AF ratios

i would start at a 35 and finish with a 50, MAX with those cast pistons you're lookin for trouble. so long as its tuned you'll be ok.

it'll take a lot more than a 50

75 is safe with cast as lng as your ratio is good......ran 75 shot on cast for a while 100 shot as well
