hi, i did an auto to manual swap on my integra and put an ls vtec swap the car was running good at the beginning but after a week or so it start smoking a lot from the exhaust is white smoke and when i step on it is with and black i did a com test and came 180 on all cyl its a bone stock ls vtec im still using the automatic ecu oil seems to be good with no coolant so i don t think its the head gasket i conect the vtec direct to a switch and it was working but now it doesnt work if somebody can help and give some advices.

 

i would try a different ecu..

 

Do a radiator compression test may be your leaking a little bit of coolant into the motor.

^ all the information is good. First I would get the right ecu and get it tuned. White smoke is transmission fluid or coolant. Black is unburnt fuel/carbon. The best way to see if your head gasket is working correctly is to use a kit that checks for combustion gasses in your coolant. I think a new ECU should fix your fuel problem.

 

ls/v? untuned? smokes? unheard of.

Get it tuned.

 

ma car is going crazy. when i start the car it smokes a lil bit then stop and i ride for 1 or 2 miles with out smoke then the car choke and throw a big cloud of smoke then smoke for 1 or 2 min then stop ect....

 

WRONG ECU WILL **** UP YOUR MOTOR. Quit driving it until you get the proper ecu
