Ok guys this is my new problem I put gas in my car it dosnt wanna start and a check engine light comes on for a fuel injectior problem so after dissconnecting the battery for a few mins it will start right up and it allso has died on my driveing at 60 miles an hour just went from running to dead on the spot no sputter no nuttin so please help me

 

sounds like it could be down to your ecu mate or dodgy wiring

 

My da did the same thing about a week ago check your grounds maybe or main relay?

 

 

There is no CEL code for fuel injectors...there is only one for the fuel pump.

EDIT: you said that it died going full speed? It didnt stumble or just put out? It is possible for the fuel pump to cut off while driving, but the remaining fuel in the rail and injectors would be enough to let the car combust a few more times.

 

It just died no sputter nuttin and it is a 91 honda crx its a little light on the ecu that flashes for the cel on them it was one long flash and six quick flashes that's cel 16 I'm guessin I asked my buddy who does a lot of stuff with hondas he said it is an injector code for it cutting out so idk but I really need help with figureing it out its my daily driver and I need it to b dependable for now so I can save some money for my build

 

Check grounds man, anytime I have a wierd nonsense problem anymore, I kind of just assume it's electrical ha ha! Might not be but good place to start.

Its a d15b7 dual point injection the base model 91 crx

 

Alright so you got a carb goin on...well that is out of my realm, cant help ya there.

 

And what does that code mean? Does it mean a injector went out of what somebdy help me lol I need to get this figued out now

 

I know it ****ing sucks lol I hate the dual point crap I'll am tryinto figure out how to use a obd1 intake on my crx anyone? If I can do that I should be good I hope

 

You'de use an obd0 d16a6 intake manifold for your CRX. You would have to convert to MPFI, but i dont know how to do that haha.

 

mpfi swap= EASY just search it and i have all the parts u need including obd1 injectors pm me if ur interested i have a write up also.i also have a good dpfi manifold that came off my car in perfect workin condition if u need parts pm me
