Did you recently reset your ECU? I believe sometimes this is caused by EGR problems. What kind of mileage do you have? If it's like mine, it will go away after a few days of driving as your ECU learns and corrects for the problem.

lucky for you I have nothing better to do at work now
A TPS stands for Throtal postion sensor. It monitors the butterfly valve in the Throtall body. When you step on the gas pedal your pedal pulls on a throtal cable. The throtal cable pulls on the butterfly valve in the TB, and the TPS monitors how far wide open the valve is.
Now when the valve is closed, the TPS should be emitting .45v to the ECU. And when its fully open it emits 4.5v to the ECU.
How you check it is this. Go get a multimeter, they are 20 bucks and super handy.
Turn the mutimeter to the 20v postion and stick the middle wire going into the tps with it, far enough that that your hitting the wire inside. Take the ground from the muiltimeter and ground it to the car. Put the car to the ON postion in ignition and pull the readings.
