Default strange lean issue, thinking map or tps..

ok so i just put back in my basically stock d15 for a little and it ran fine at first. i had tuned it a little on crome and then one day when i step on it and only when i hit100% throttle my wideband will go all the way lean. thinking it was my tune i adjusted the tables and still no luck, so i swapped out the chipped computer for a completely stock ecu. still does same thing. runs fine around town but when i step on it it goes super lean but on decel it does cut the injectors which makes me think the map is working... any help would be great thanks

yeah, its a real shame. I have had several occasions where i need an answer to a "real" question and no one know WTF is going on. I have other forums that I go to if i need a serious answer.

You would probably have better luck in the Tech forum. When is the last time your WBO2 was calibrated? Can you disable closed-loop and see if it still goes lean? Also, how lean are we talking? 14:1? does it go lean and just stay there or does it slowly get richer? Exhaust leaks?

no didnt unplug the neg when i swapped ecu's but i dont see how that matters... and it does real right at 14.7 around town sometimes lower 14 to 15's but thats normal for closed loop. but as soon as i floor it it will dip quick to 12ish and then go straight to 20...

just an update... i put on my after market regulator and to get it to idle at 14.7 it had to be at 80psi.

id check the operation of the tps because it provides input to ecu so that when you abrubtly open the throttle the injector pulses are abrubtly increased to provide the correct afr, kind of like an accelerator pump on carburetors

on a d series? either the fuel map is way off or the injectors are all way plugged.

i would say map sensor it works in conjuntion to obtain fuel map

check tps by hooking a volt meter to the 5v wire of the 3 wires ( i think middle iirc)

it should read do when warm
.5v at idle
2.5 at 1/2 throttle
5 v at WOT

does not have to be under load
