Valve cover gasket
I was told that i will need to have the valve cover gasket replaced and since i work at home depot im not rolling in cash. so my question is: Is the replacing this gasket hard? And How exactly do i go about doing so?
thanks in advance

Yeah probably one of the easiest things to replace just make sure you don't over tighten the bolts when your putting it back on, they have a tendency to break.

heh yup, I've been using it myself for nearly 10 years and over 200K miles on my Integra with no problems. Much cheaper and easier to find at any auto parts store vs. actual HondaBond sealant.

yeah when i worked at the dealer they told us to just charge a tube of honda bond to any car getting a valve cover gasket. i had so much hodna bond in my box i had to start taking it home. but thats the dealer for you
Oh and i forgot, um i was told somthing about some springs or somthing falling when i take the head off.. could someone elaborate and kinda break it down as in what exactly do i need to do.. please and thank you
if you do it right you'll be fine. just dont mess with the valve spring retainers. let the machine shop handle that. just pull the head
Search google should have your answer. But If you are just changing the valve cover gasket you have no reason taking off the head. And even if you are taking the head off apart from the block. There should be nothing falling out of it unless its a fcuked up head.
