Default Slight oil leak from valve cover gasket.

I recently had a CTR intake cam installed, and when I inspected the engine after running it, I noticed a small amount of oil around the valvecover(between the valve cover and the head). I checked out the valve cover gasket and it looks fine. Will a small leak like this hurt performance? If so, can I use some type of sealant or silicone to stop it?

you can get the gasket seal and reseal the gasket ...... auto zone has some .. like 2 or 3 bucks .. I do it every time I take the valve cover off ...

GO to honda and get 4 new spark plug gaskets and a new valve cover gasket. When reinstalling the valve cover make sure to use some honda liquid gasket at the corners and at the cam seals. By not replacing it with 20 dollar parts it could end up costing you a couple hundred. Don't delay, do it today. ya heard

Would it be bad if a little of the liquid gasket stuff were to get inside the valve cover? Cuz I'm afraid that when I put the valvecover back on it will squeeze away past the edges. Is it harmful to the engine?

if you don't want to buy another valvecover gasket get the one you have and put it in the freezer for an hour wrapped in a plastic bag(i know it sounds weird but it works believe me) and get some hondabond and put it in the corners off the camm grooves and you should be set,but make sure it's coming from the lavecovergasket and not the camseal
