Can timing being off by a tooth or 2 allow a vehicle to start but not rev all the way out??? ask this question because if my distributor is at tdc it only will rev to 1500 rpm but if complete advance will go to 3500 and its in limp mode because of a code 4 crank angle but i have tried different ecus and distributors???

Have you checked the timing?

 

Lookin at the cam gears one seems to be offff by a litttle bit but do I also have to check the crank??? Idkk
