Default 01 S2000 Replacing clutch..., trying to separate transmission & motor

I've lowered the subframe, removed all the bolts, disconnected all the sensors, and the stupid transmission wont come loose from the engine. I've got it separated about a half inch and it wont budge past that. I've tried 2 pry bars at the same time, on the left and right side and in the little notch at the bottom. I also have a friend helping. I double checked clearance and I can put my hand between the firewall and the trans so it will come off once I break the spline loose.

any suggestions??

thanks for your time

did you remove the 14mm starter bolt...? you swing the alternator to the side with a long extension and a swivel 14mm, upper starter bolt..kinda pita..

just below the bar code in the picture is a slot in the housing. It's for a pry-bar.

This is most likely the case, i had the same problem when I pulled my transmission. Push the tranny back up to the motor pull out the fork and the tranny will fall right out.
