Default odb0-obd1 ign. timing issue

ok so i went to go and time my ign. timing properly for stock seettings and well i guess i didnt wire it up propely on my home made obd0 to obd1 harness but the weird thing is i looked over from phearable and a chart on honda-tech, the wiring pinouts and it seems right while not making sence.

i have the scs wired up propley(i thought) by a jumper ( i at 1st thought that was the ign timing so i didint think about it) and the mil light is wired up but i cant find anything on any chart stating where to wire or even the pinout describing where that is other then on the odb0 chart and then it starts conflitcing.

like so.

the pm6 diagram is telling me that pin b20 is the ign. timing adjuster and im supposed to wire that up to d04 on the obd1 side but yet that makes no sence as d04 is the scs (service check signal). now why this doenst make sence is isnt that supposed to be hooked up to a jumper for when an ecu code is throw(or the mil activates) so i can check what code is being thrown? im so lost and this stupid harness is now 2wice ive made this and it has screwed up 2wice for the same reason.

bassicly what im asking is how do i properly wire up the ign timing, mil, and code check properly..
