Timing Issue?
I have a d16z6, im have trouble getting the timing right, i have it at tdc, the cam lines up and the crank is dead on tdc, and then i try to adjust ignition timing, i hook up the timing light, im off by 8 degrees after fully retarding the dizzy, if i don't retard the dizzy, or if i advance it, its gets worst, degrees increase, any ideas, am i missing something

This is obvious, but do you have a jumper wire in the service connector (see below)? Otherwise, double check the cam and crankshaft marks -- they may be off by a tooth.

um timing gun have a timing advance dial or option? is it on or set to something? if ur mechanical timing is dead on ur fine; it's not mechanical timing thats off. check ur timing light and jumper wire.
