im also rebuilding for turbo, i want to be around 300-350 Hp, i want to do it right, do i need to sleeve for that hp or will block guard be adequate, any machine work need to be done? should i increase the bore from 81mm? will forged internals alone be enough support? i have obd0 b16a...thanks for the help
Check out the dyno thread. You will see peoples setup with that power goal.
Then copy the setup
.
Easiest way is.
Pistons
rods
hone block ( can leave it at 81 if you can )
good head gasket
your flavor of "real" turbo, the HX35 s working great. GT28rs , tdo5 . Many manyyy to choose from.
real manifold
and good tune again .

thanks for the input, what about sleeving the block, is it necessary, i figured that would be a great starting point? 8.5:1 or 9:1 cr which is better for what im looking for (350ish Hp)
Im pretty new to honda-tech, how can i locate the dyno thread?
