honda del sol vtec not working
just bought a 96 del sol and was running good vtec was kicking good its a d16z6...i installed an oil gauge so i took off the oil sending unit and the plug with the 2 wires that went into it to install the oil gauge. Im thinkin that the oil sending unit and the 2 wires that go to it have to be hooked up for the vtec to work cuz i know the vtec has to have the right amount of oil pressure to kick in..Am i right do i need to hook it back up or am i wrong. I can buy a T and hook both up right?????

Are you actually seeing a check engine light come on around 4.8k or so when VTEC kicks in, or do you just not feel it "kick" anymore?
I think you put it on the VTEC pressure switch. I think most people use the oil pressure sending unitbon the back if the block. Yes your VTEC will not work if you do not have the VTEC pressure switch hooked up.
