Icon2 trans/clutch issue after mini-me

Finally got my mini me together and started her up. The issue is the car will not go into gear. I used the trans out of my 88 crx with clutch and flywheel the came off with the old engine. First problem, the 1.5 clutch tool did not fit the clutch I had but the 1.6 did. Next issue was that the end piece did not fit in the flywheel. AFter getting the 1.6 clutch tool and making it work we got everything assembled. Car starts but cannot get into gear when its on but when It's off it goes into all gears. If I start the car in first with clutch depressed it will jump forward. Wtf is the problem H-T

We adjusted the plastic nut both ways and still nothing. With tires off the ground and the clutch to the floor the tires spin if I start the car in first. Soon as it hits the ground the car will not go into gear

When you push the clutch in, does the lever pull up? If yes then you have the clutch adjusted, if not then you have to get it tight all the way snugle so when you push the clutch in the lever pulls up. Cha-ching

i gotta check what the lever does.
If it makes any difference(which i bet it does) when we did the swap we did not pull the engine and trans out together. The trans stay in and was attached as we got the engine in.

well i suppose its possible that may have caused a problem, but hard to say. when you bolted the pressure plate back up to the flywheel did it go in easy and did you line up the dowel pins? if you somehow managed to bolt it up improperly then it might be sitting uneven and the clutch would probably not disengage properly.

all the pins are lined up correctly. It look a good hour or two to get the thing to slide in and line up with the trans correctly, but I didn't wanna rush it.
