aright i went to drive my car this morning and it starts fine, then i go into reverse and i feel this pop, then it gets stuck at 3k and i stoip the car and turn it off, i start it back up but it wont go into gear, so im like wtf, it goes into gear fine when its off but wont go into any gear when the car is on, anyone have any idea wht this is, gonna drop the tranny tommorow to find out what it is

but if my clutch was bad would my car still start? cuase it starts up fine in nuetral but wont go into gear, but if i start it in 1st it gets all crazy

 

could be your shifter link, get under your car and have a peek...

without you listing your engine tranny, I'll guess DOHC and a stock clutch. You've just spit a spring.

 

its a gsr tranny with a hyper-clutch, its a modified street disk with heavy duty pressure plate

aright thanks for the replys, pully off the tranny today and looking at it, damn this is a bitch bitch bitch.... and the guy who put my car together when it was rebiult didnt put the pin in the shift linkage so now we have to take it out from the shifter, bitch bitch bitch in the pain in the ***
