fuel pump
Used the stock DX fuel pump for a while because I was too lazy to install the GSR pump.
Yes it will affect performance but only for long periods of WOT. You will feel it at around 7K when and the motor starts hesitating.

I have a 92 VX with a 99 B18C1 and I drove with my stock fuel pump for almost a year. I switched over to a GSR pump a few months ago but I didn't see any difference, I just feel safer now

Anybody know the flow differences between the different pumps? (ITR, GSR, EX/SI, CX, etc...)?
Edit* okay im back and i didnt find much info all i found is that the GSR SI and ITR pumps flow the same rate and that these are much more than the cx'x or dx'x!!!

I'm bringing this back to the top because I'm still interested in what stock pumps are different. I've heard things like 'all the civic/interga pumps are identical except the type R'. I would just like to know what the deal is. I'm running my stock cx pump w/ my b18b and I haven't noticed any problems, but I'm still curious if there would be any benefit in upgrading. I just want to figure this out for good. I've done a search and I still see mixed answers. Thanks.
