And gone through this?

http://www.accordinglydone.com/forum...ad.php?t=10214

What's happening when you go to VTEC? Does it peg out and crap on you? Or does it continue to go but throw a CEL or what?

Now I will reiterate, the F22B1 really doesn't have the POP that VTEC has on like the S2000 or B16/B18. It's very very very subtle.

the only thing the vtec does on on the f22b1 if i remember correctly is keep the intake valves open a bit longer...the exhaust is unchanged

Have you not flashed the CEL code yet to see what the problem is? I bet that tells you exactly what to fix......

Remember, the thermostat B connector also has a green connector just like the VTEC Pressure switch and so you can mix them up good. I did that on my H22 swap and three days later found out that it was backward and finally VTEC worked.

wouldnt it just have been easier and possibly cheaper to just buy an accord that already had vtec in it???

you changed the pressure switch?

you know code 22 can come on because of the clogged vtec filter screen under the solenoid.

i took this out of my coupe.. which was vtec. which ran fine. i swapped it into this sedan because i have a jdm f22b DOHC that im boosting.. so i want this sedan to run right either way. i dont need it since i have a del sol too but that gets lame to drive.

yes i changed the switch... but it definitely isn't clogged cause oil leaked out.. and it worked before i pulled it.. so really i have no idea. ill try unclogging it but any other suggestions?
