Vtec pressure switch vs. d15b
So i got my d15b running and all sounds good. I did the cel a trillion times to make sure what it was, and its the pressure switch. So i took the one off my old running z6 and put it in the hole on the side of the lower vtec parts on the block( where the importer put a screw ). Went to test on the freeway again. Still no vtec.
Here's my biggest problem.
I'm using an ex 93 ENGINE harness
Dx engine bay and car harness.
And i have a chipped p28 on p08 fuel maps.
Could anyone point me in the right direction to wire up my vtec?
SHould i change something on my non vtec ENGINE BAY + CAR harness?
Thanks so much. -chris.

I just installed a D15B VTEC into my 2000 hatch.
This site helps A LOT: http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/
In particular, you will be looking for this: http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/wiring.obd1.htm
The solenoid has 1-wire, which goes to the ECU. Read the pinout on the above link so you know where it goes. The pressure switch is a 2-wire. The red wire goes to the ECU, again read the pinout. The black wire needs to be grounded. I grounded mine to the thermostat area.
Good luck
