Vtec Solenoid issue for JDM B18C-R into 92VX
Ive read from various posts that you can remedy vtec pressure switch issues by using a dseries solenoid when you are running a p28 and obdI setup. Is this the right part? is it just a bolt on procedure? swap it with the one on the head?
If it is just a matter of swapping this piece, now it will just plug right into the VX Vtec wiring right?

There's no need to change the solenoid to one with a pressure switch. If you are using an ECU that looks for the pressure switch, all you need to do is join the VTEC pressure switch wire with the VTEC soleniod wire. That's the easiest way to solve that problem without having to buy andother solenoid.
