isaac head restraint ...is it legal
i am thinking about buying an "isaac" head restraint system r they legal for nasa and scca?and does anyone use one and how do they like it....im affraid of it not letting u turn ur head at all
Isaac is not FIA or SFI approved, Benny is correct. NASA requires SFI (definitely) or FIA (I think) approval for competition. For HPDE and Time Trial, you can use whatever you want.
SCCA does not yet have a mandated requirement, but it is in the makings, and kind of the only game in town is the SFI one, unfortunately.

You are correct in both statements.
There are some ok options for SFI stuff though. The DefNder is a nice alternative to a HANS, and the R3 isn't too bad.
