can you feel any of that with your figernail I'm guessing yes. probably not gonna be able to re use that. you could try but I would'nt

 

It's hard to tell anything from pictures on the internet, but it looks like there's a lot of pitting. In fact, hat entire head looks pretty rough. If it were my head and I didn't absolutely have to use it for some reason, I would get rid of it and find a head in much better condition. If the whole head soaked in that solvent, the threads in the head may all be screwed up, too. Good luck. Sorry I'm not of much help.

An automotive machine shop can tell you. Etching of the cam journals looks obvious but hard to tell by looking at a picture.

 

get it hot tanked and check for pitting
