check your oil pressure/oil level, low oil=no vtec
also check the connection on the vtec solenoid.
are you getting a CEl, if so what code?

 

you may want to do a basic tune up on your motor (spark plug, wires, oil change, etc.....) if it still doesnt help, you may want to check your ECU, may need reprogramming, who knows?...............but i would take it to the local acura shop there and see what kind of info they can help you out with

 

man....that sucks. my friends vtec went out on him too and for some reason it drained his gas with it. i never knew how he fixed it but just check connections. since its something like that...i'd take it o somone that's professional.

 

the car gods turned VTEC off because that bumper is ugly.

 

check your oil level to start off with.

 

Maybe your temp. sensor? I know when the car is cold that VTEC won't work. It's just a thought.

 

Maybe a fuse?
