i have a d16z6 with i/h/e chipped p28 skunk2 mani and 60mm throttle?i know its not much just wondering?

My recommendations would be find a d00d with a dyno and check it out for yourself, and if all else fails try the butt-dyno and add 15hp for e-***** reasons.

 

on second thought, take base HP from stock d16 and add 6-8hp...

 

id say take the stock numbers and subtract 5-10hp depending on the age/conditon of your motor and the tune (or lack of)

 

really hard to tell but ill guess 115whp max.

126ish stock minus .15% since thats crank HP.

IDK about you guys but a lot of shops around here have monthly 20-30 dollar dyno days.

these engines come stock with 125 hp so id say urs is making less since u screwed around with the intake and that chipped ecu wont help either

OP, i say take it to a dyno and remove all doubt. Dont expect a beast its a D. I have nothing against D's i own one. Ive also had a GSR ek. So i know both worlds. Just dont let other people put you down.

I personally have a d16z6 with i/h/e fidanza wheel,stage 2clutch,bpi velocity stack and a chipped ecu. I dont care how much im making. Its my FUN toy turtle car...LoL. Plus i added suspension and other functional stuuf to compensate for power...LoL

True that.. honestly Its more fun to drive a slow car fast then a fast car slow.. I have an h2b in my civic now but I cant even take off without my tires spinning. but the gsr and the d16y8 was fun though in my opinion.

 

since when to chipped ecu's provide instant horsepower? a larger throttle body with stock injectors, and stock plugs/wires is like pissing in the wind with your eyes closed. a bone stock z6 with a virgin p28 is already at least 15 years old, and would be lucky to see 115whp. a chipped ecu (im guessing for da strooonga vtaksz and rice step) and a slightly larger tb isnt gonna put down 110whp. im not attempting to bash the op in anyway, but mods with a tune to support them take away hp. i know a guy with a rebuilt b16a2, 3inch intake, comptech header, and 2.5" exhaust who struggled to put down over 140whp...really nice/quality mods, but no tune.

 

you must be one of those guys that wants a 10000 rev limit and vtec engagement at 3500 rpms cuz its mad tyte so u buy a spoon chip on ebay. right?

120hp (stock) minus milage and engine wear (depends on how many miles) and then add like 10hp.

I estimated my 131k mile d16z6 @ ABOUT 95hp and about 77tq. (its old and worn i Know, am re-building) and now I'd say it makes 105hp and about 89tq (with my light mods). Never tuned never dyno'd, its a guesstimate!

Best thing to do is go to a cheap dyno and get a base run. Should be like 90 if you find a decent tuner garage (my friend only charges 90 for 1 run no tuning no adding parts, just 1 clean run)

 

i didnt want to get that technical but thats wat i meant to say in the above post. if u want to remove all doubt just dyno it and let us know
