Default Questions about dual gates and controlling boost

So im running a top-mount manifold with dual tial 44's. I tried putting a manual boost controller on it that i verified works on 2 different cars. Everytime it went striaght over 30psi. So i went back to running WG spring pressure which is about 20psi. This season im gonna be using eCtune, and not sure what i need to run the gates for the gear dependant boost control. Like do i need 2 solenoids, 1 for each gate? i was told i cant run a manual controller on dual gates so i gave up on that pretty quick. Any info or help would be great.

you got it all wrong, you can treat dual gates just the same as single gates. ive got a manual boost controller on my dual gate setup. just run a single line into the boost controller, and tee off after the boost controller to each gate.

Thats what i did,i used 2 different manual boost controllers and both did the same thing. Went straigh over 30psi no matter how much i turned them in to turn em down. Ant then i talked to a couple guys that have dealt with stuff like this before and said it doesnt work when you use a manual on duals. No t sayin your lieing by any means, just dont understand why mine didnt work. I would have turned the boost up over 20 if it had lol. I went 10.6 on 20psi and pump just cause i was told i needed an electronic.

What two brands did you use? What were you using for reference source, boost or vacuum?
