I have a 99 civic 4 dr lx and i went to start it this morning and it started and ran for about 5 seconds before winding down and dieing i have checked the fuel pump tried to jump start it and replace the spark plugs and wires as well as checked all fuses any other suggestions??

anything helps I have also checked my kill switch i think somehow that may be not functioning right?

 

any check engine lights? throw any codes?

does it run for a few seconds every time you try and start it and then die? If so, I would check the fuel filter and fuel lines
