how'd you go about diagnosing your problem?
did you check the wiring?
are you sure the replacement v-tec solenoid is good?
did you clean the screen and replace the o-ring?
how is the vafc wired is it twisted and taped or soldered and wrapped?

Originally car was throwing cel code 21 which is for vtec solenoid..So then we try my friends ecu still wont hit vtec.. So I replace my vtec solenoid and still not working then try hooking the other ecu back up still wont work.... Finally we end up wiring up this old vafc2 I had laying around and now It works.. I mean my ecu is chipped it is a vtec computer so why will It not hit without a vtec controller hooked up?? We cleaned the screen replaced the o ring and it is just twisted and taped..
i would disconnect the vafc and follow the factory service manual steps to resolve the code 21.
how do you know that you're still able to get into vtec, how are you verifying this?
