if you have the h22 DO IT. SCREW what people say on this board about "it'll be bad for autocross, only good for drag in a straight line". those people have the TYPICAL simple minded brains. go against the grain and do something other people dont normally do. if i had an h22 i would do it. who would install it for you. make sure they know how to weld, WELL. i wish i could do something other than a B16 in my car but i have no C.R.E.A.M. to play with now. I have heard of some people on this board (i dont know if theyre still on here) that have done the swap and have AUTOCROSSED and they LOVED it. so screw what others say and go for it. just bring some patience with you. whatever you do, i hope it goes well.

I saw someone did that in SCC last year. Don't know which issue. I think it would be tight literally you have to make sure that that engine is REALLY secured in there becuase its so big don't you have to bash out most of the front end collision protection?

You do have to cut the frame rails out (C-notch) But we will weld tubular steel in its place.

Does anyone make a bolt in kit for an H22 in an 88-91? Last time I checked, there's only 84-87 kits.

I always wanted to drop a stock H22 in, not really for drag or race, but just to have a fun daily driver...oh well. I'll keep dreaming.
