Hi people i just completed a jdm integra type r swap into a 95 ej2 shell, i used a vti (english dohc vtec)dash loom and kept the integra type r engine loom, i am use a obd1 to obd2 ecu jumper on it and i have the ran the knock sensor wire, and electronic load dector wire, as the vti loom did not have them,

now here is the problem, when i start the car from cold it fires up and idles like it shoud and revs up fine, but after about 1minute it wont rev up right, slow to rev up, it also strugles to run,

i have tried different dizzy, map sensor, and air temp sensor but they all are fine, also when car does rev it tends to back fire a bit,

can anybody please help thanks

 

Check fuel pressure.

yup, i agree with HR. seems like a fuel problem.. do you have a f/p gauge? whats the reading after it tends to run rough?

 

i dont have f/p gauge i am ordering one now, i took off fuel line on the injector rail had a friend block the pipe with his finger, put on the ingition on it had enough pressure to push his finger off!!!!!!!!!

 

make sure you have the right connector in the right place, or check your spark plug wire to insure they are in the right cyl.

 

ok i found the problem, it was the cam timing slipped the belt
