Default T25 turbo wastegate actuator arm adjustment question

So last night i messed around with my actuator. I was working on it from the top,not underneath the car. Im right handed so i turned the nut on actuator left but move it moved rightward on the rod.I just turned the nut on the actuator a bit more and noticed that im increaing the length of the rod.....i made a mark on the rod yesterday before i turned it. Therefore im decreasing the boost.....Anyone has an idea how to shorten the length of that actuator rod without removing anything off the car? I read in this thread if i want to shorten the length of that rod i have to take of the c-clip where holds the end of that rod and turn that swivel and bracket...

that is not so convenient because i will be constantly jacking the car up and remove the turbo downpipe to reach that area

Your gonna have to take it off in order to spin the threaded arm part. Then lock it into place with the nut.
