unless you plan to drive it at an airport runway, yeah.. I I can take a stab at this and say that using that isn't a good idea.

Hell no, even worse if you use a b20 block. They don't hold any mayor power.
Can you please say whats your power goal?? a gt42r is a big power turbo. Like for sleeved built motor and 700++ whp goals.

Its capable of 1000+whp, so if youre not making use of it, get something smaller. If theyre $100 each, theyre probably junk or not true Garretts, maybe Masterpower.

Have you READ about the uses for the GT42 turbo? Do you actually have any idea how BIG that really is? You might want to read up on that. If they are true garretts, they are probably BLOWN turbochargers that were not worth repairing.

It just seems that you are truly clueless to the amount of air these use, so here's an idea. Most V8 high flowing 302CID engines can't run that on a regular basis, much less a Honda unless it is for drag purposes only.

Also, take a look at garrett. This is considered a LARGE frame turbocharger

Stop trying to do this on the ultimate cheap..you're just going to get ripped off if you don't understand the parts that you're attempting to purchase.

Excellent Reply!! There is no better advice! If you want to go big enough to achieve 400 - 600 hp and be very streetable ( and occassional race), get a gt35r. IMO, one of the best "streetable" turbo manufactured. And can produce amazing numbers.

the shodan tells it like it is.
arod may have had luck with it. he did say track car.

but using a gt42 on the street is pointless.
there are way better options for your power level and ultimate goal.
