With enough pressure any motor can make power - example my friends Hyundai Pony 177whp ~8psi of boost.

Nitrous is a form of cheating, at least to me. A blower actually takes some doing to work right.

Nothing is cheating except breaking the rules in a sanctioned event.

The point in a race is to be faster than the other guy....who cares how you achieve that? How can you cheat?

I'd give your buddy a big for making power out of that car.

i agree to a point. nitrous and turbos/superchargers arent cheating until u break the rules. but if u cant make HP NA then what good r u.

i think its cheating when someone has something you cant get. anyone here can buy turbos, nos,etc . when it comes down to it its "run what ya brung'(redneck slang). plus before you can say whats "cheating" you have to establish what the rules are/allow (road race, autocross, drag, street).

power is power

it's cheating if you lie about what you have on your car (sandbagging)

Acceleration is acceleration, if its done by two horses pulling the carriage or a super tuned motor with nawss or turbo/SC turning the tires.

Blah to who thinks it cheating, If you can't afford it dont call it cheating

nitrous takes just as much "doing" to get it working "right" as any tubo or SC....a well set-up nitrous system is just as respectable as a supercharger or turbo kit....
