it was driving fine last night before i parked it..went out today and the car wont start..when i go to start it, it makes a like fast tapping noise. also my 4th fuel injector to the right is leaking gas..any ideas on what's wrong with my Sol?

 

tapping from inside the vehicle? this sounds like your main fuel relay clicking. Check your grounds i ran into this same problem before. atleast by what it sounds like?

 

as soon as i push in the clutch to fire the car up...nothing instead i hear a fast clicking noise inside the car..i opened the hood and i hear it also

 

could be the battery jump some wires from a different car and see

yeah when i had this problem it was a loose ground wire on the battery. if you check your main grounds i think you will find your problem.

probably since the fast clicking is a sign that the bat voltage is too low.

 

yeah it was the battery. another question though...would a bad battery cause the transmission to shift shitty?

 

no, the gas leak is probably from the little oring on the fuel injector

 

is the cel on? or does it blink?

 

i don't think the batttery would cause the trans to shift badly. if the voltage was too low to make the trans shift worse it would have a hard time running and starting like you have already experienced

but you can check your battery voltage your self with a meter and if you need it load tested take to autozone or advanced the will check for free.
