My 2008 Accord has recently developed this problem where it sometimes won't start the first time I try turning the key. The engine starts to turn, then I hear a funny noise, and it fails to start. Can anyone identify what the problem is?


You'll likely want headphones to hear the sound. It fails to start at 3 seconds, and then it successfully starts at 8 seconds.

I took it to the shop and they said the battery, alternator, and starter all tested good. They couldn't replicate the problem so they didn't go any further with it.
