Default Just chipped first ecu with blank SST27sf512

as subject says, i cant burn anything on it yet because burner is on its way but when j1 is jumped, all i get is a solid check engine light theres a quiet humming but everything runs fine though... does this indicate that chip set was soldered correctly or incorrect , no jumper everythings like stock...

You need to burn a program on the chip to test whether the socketing job is good or not. You're in limp mode without a valid program, hence the solid CEL. Until then, you don't know one way or the other.
