ive been running my h22 for a bit now and people tell me my vtec aint working i start paying more attention to it and yiou cant hear it,i have full 2.5 in piping headers and cai i also get cel 22 for vtec pressure switch sometimes. i checked the vps for continuty check for the voltage on harness its suppose to have approx 12. i kepp getting 11.7 doubt if thats my problem my soleniod clicks when straight power is ran to it. tried diffrent ecus same issue. any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

 

Have you checked the oil level as that will affect vtec engagement? That or check the pressure switch.

 

yes checked the oil its good though my oil light has been blinking once in a great time. i checked the pressure switch its good i even swapped it wuth a working one

 

did the oil pressure light still blink when you swapped it with the other one??

 

it blinks once in a good while. couldnt it mean my oil pressure sensor going out

 

Check the wiring. Is this a swap?

 

checked the wiring on the ecu side and in the engine it read 11.7v in the manual it says it should be aprrox 12.v. yes this is a swap. imma swap out the whole vtec with the one from my other h22 see if that helps
