im looking to purchase some jdm ef hatch corners, does it matter what year? also will it just be a complete bolt on no modifications needed. Thanks.

i heard they dont but im not 100% sure..

but some people put JDm as if it makes the lights any better.

what year is your ef?

cuz 88 89 screw on to the fender and 90 91 screw on to the head light bracket

 

my car is a 89 civic. has screws on the corner lights. but the corner lights i got dont have screws on the corner light.

 

if you have 90-91 headlight brackets and the tabs on the fender from 90-91 (the ones that slide in, not screw in) they will work. line up just fine.

 

88-89 have screws on the side of the corner lights
90-91 has tabs on the inside of the lights
so just check to see if the one's you are going to buy have what you need

 

if they are from a different set of years (IE if you have a 88 (89) and its a 90 (91) corner light) just switch the head light brackets and they will fit just fine.

 

u can put any year...i have a 88 and put 90 corners..just changed the lil tabs inside

and it doesnt really matter if its 88-91. itll still fit if you get the little plastic tabs to screw into. itll be a awkward fit, but atleast youll have corner lights on. not to mention having a busted up radiator support makes things even harder.
