So I have been researching the crap out my build and I am still putting together pieces here and there.

I was thinking of running a GT3076R Turbo with a 0.63 AR but I was looking at the compressor maps and think it might not work out for my car. Should I run the smaller GT3071R because my engine is a little closer to the efficiency islands on that map, or is the 3076R going to make more power while still remaining close to the 3071R's low end spool up. Compressor map links below...

I guess I am just worried about the turbo surging before it even hits the efficiency islands...

Looking to run 10psi and make anywhere between 300hp - 400hp

A few details of the build:
B16A2 9.0 CR, Portflow Headwork, Crower Stage 2 Turbo Cams
Full Race Turbo kit
AEM Fuel Setup with 550cc injectors
hondata s300 dyno tuned
so on and so forth

I didn't see how much power your after but i too LOVE my GT3076R on my 1.6, i previously had a t3/t04e ball bearing and have driven MANY different boosted Honda's i must say i love mine.


The setup:
-b16b head
-b16a block with pr4 pistons a .050" head gasket
-3" turbo back
-custom GT3076r turbo kit with a ramhorn mani
-91 octane 8.3 compression 333whp at 12psi.
