Default Shift Linkage problem

is there a special way to get the shift linkage out? my motor is a b18c and lsd tranny if that matters. any help is welcome

well for one piece you just have to remove the bolt...for the other you have to move the boot out of the way and get that little horseshoe looking clip thing off

then comes the bitch pin...its a little pin inside
you gotta bang that out

yeh, the metal clip around the linkage arm hides the pin through the middle. And the rubber booty hides them both.

pop that bolt off,
the there is a snap ring,(90% sure), pop that off, grab a 8mm or 1/4 inch punch and hammer and start beating on that pin when it pops out grab, bag it,tag it and dont loose it.
linage will then come right off.

yea on the b series i thought both were connected with 12 mm bolts only the d series use that pin and if its the pin good luck that thing is a pain sometimes 2 get off

b-series could be two bolts and no evil pins.. I changed the clutch on my dads d15 and it had a pin on the tranny and a bolt on the shifter.

I've never looked under my b-series...
