How do you remove the shift linkage? i am almost to that step of my motor swap and i have no idea how to. Any help would be appreciated.

 

there is a 12mm bolt that hooks to the tranny just unbolt that and for the other one that goes into the tranny pull back the silver ring with pliers, there will be a little ring black or silver i think. that is the key lock. hit it out with a 3/16 socket or a 8mm punch. dont lose it though.

If your trying to remove the whole shiftlinkage go under the car and where the shift linkage bolts just unbolt it. i believe they are two twelves or 14s thats holding it up.
