Default Searched...hondata & wideband

What does hondata recommend as far as wideband setup and the s300.

Im running an s300 p28 in a 94 civic hatch.

My options are either a PLX product or the AEM Uego.

Any opinions either way...?

And im taking the car to slowmotion in cbus to get tuned. What do they prefer?

I have S300 in both my FI cars and i have PLX in both. I run the narrow and the wide band on both of them in auto tune and i get real good gas millage and i find they work well. Ive heard a few ***** stories when using AEM and the Hondata. But that problem is probly resolved now. Pm me if you have any questions. Im in the mits of wiring up a PLX SM in a accord wagon with a F23 boosted

I've owned three brands: PLX makes a good product, Innovate has a versitile & cheap WB, and TechEdge has tons of features for it's price.

Some people complain the LC1 eats sensors, and may have ground offset issues if you are electrically-challenged. PLX doesn't have a perfectly linear WB output, and sometimes it's guage will differ from it's wideband output wire. The TechEdge units I got I had to assemble, but they work ****. I've never been cursed enough to work with S300, but I don't see why any unit with a decent WB output wouldn't work with S300.

The best part about TechEdge and Innovate is you can modify the narrowband output. You can shift it over so your car trys to target a slightly leaner AFR for cruising, w/o affecting WOT AFR's. I use eCtune, so I can just tell it to target a different narrowband voltage instead. My car cruises at ~15-15.5:1 AFR's no matter what.
