Yep, works like a champ...
just set the lambda/volt table in Hondata to match the AEM output.
When running the wideband you'll have to set-up the rom to run open loop.
All of this is not much use if you don't have RomEditor...

Re: AEM Uego and Hondata? (Jefnes)
yea i have all the software , i just doint have a wideband yet,
its pretty strasight forward to calibrate the AEm in hondata software. i know sometimes they can get goofy . Boostedhybrid had a bitch with his FJO the one time .
BTW , whats the upside to having the dual channel controller? sorry for the stupid questions, but i wanna learn how to start doing my own tuning somewhat to at least get some decent basemaps until i get to a real tuner, and make changes as i need them according to weather and stuff. So im really starting to look into it more

Well i just read on AEM's site form someone that the dual channel would be used for like v8's to measure both banks simultaneously. So assuming since we only have one bank of cyl, i can assume the single channel is adequate.
Bump for anyones input with their experiences with the combonation with this unit with Hondata

correct, the daul channel would be for an engine configuration with more than one bank of cylinders. the aem wideband is actually designed to be a universal application wideband, with nothing specifically to do with the aem ems. it runs the sensor and creates a Vout table versus air/fuel ratio that can be logged by any competant engine management system. the only downside is that they have not come out with a display yet, debut time for the display is supposedly before xmas.

i know i was looking for the display but nothing yet. i seen in the new Dragsport though an add for a UEGO and has a disply, it looks like it has the AEM logo, but i dunno if thats it or not ?
I was just wondering if hondata had any quarks where it wouldnt let it connect or calibrate with this unit? Hondata is goofy most of the time.
the display isnt a big deal though really. becuase i can log the stuff at least in the hondalogger, so i can use that as a display for now , but i would like a real display in the future,so i can see the values during runs as a back up and protection, if i see it goes lean , ill shut it down and log it in the pits after the run
would the 02 sensor be ok for daily driving? i prob wont be drivbing it on the street much anymore, but just curious

ITR..do a search for Hondata and AEM..I've been posting in it. I want to know what Jefnes is talking about -- maybe he thinks just because it supplies 0-5v analog output that it works? As of now, the AEM and the Hondata do NOT work together. Hopefully Hondata can work out a fix though..as at this point it appears it may be a software issue.
