Default When should you get a re-tune

With my wastegate spring its only letting me boost to 5psi and thats what i got tuned at. If i get a new spring or MBC and boost at 8psi do i need to go back for a re-tune?

thanks i guess that answers that question what about this one. Since i am not boosting that much what BOV spring should i have because my tial came with the 11psi spring and im sure thats to stiff because i cant even here it blow off. All i here is the compressor surge. Should i get a 9psi or 7psi spring?

tial bov spring depends on what your vacuum is at idle, not how much boost you are running (although i would run the 9psi spring if i was you)

well my vaccum at idle is about 21in/hg which is what the 11psi is rated at but its way to stiff for my setup. Thanks i think im going to order the 9psi now because im pretty sure the 7psi will be to low?

haha I'm pretty sure that's not your wastegate fluttering. Sounds to be like comp surge since your BOV isn't opening.

honestly at 5psi you don't even need a bov, nearly all bov's will flutter around 0-5psi, its no big deal, now if your surging at higher boost levels on boost you have a serious problem.
