Default stupid tial BOV spring question

is the BOV spring the same as a wastegate spring? i have a 50mm valve that hangs open at idle. according to tials page, i need a 12 psi spring per the 23 in/hg vac that i have. i ordered one from ben at i.p. today.

tanks in advance

EDIT:

thanks ben at inportparts.com got a 12 psi BOV spring from Tial and it is all happy now.

as did i but i went to tials page and the specify a spring for different vac readings. if my valve wasnt in the front of the car i wouldnt be worried, but since it is int he bumper, i am a little worried.
