i put a gsr motor (obd1) into my civic. im using the old d16y7 obd2 wiring harness on in.

my question is... will i run into any problems if i use obd2 to obd1 jumper harness and a p28?

ive heard yes and no from many people i just wanted to see if anyone knew for sure.

is it a three wire iac? if so you need to convert it to a two wire and switch the pinouts around.

No CKF sensor isn't in the distributor. It isn't needed for the OBD1 ecu. You are thinking the CKP sensor that is in the distributor.

What code is on? Two wire switch on the TPS? why

yeah thats what i meant. original motor was a y7 with the TB that faces up and the butterfly opens backwards. dude put a gsr motr in. the engine thinks its wot when its shut. we switched it and it runs alot smoother but still feels like towing a train and maxes out at 5k rpm. il have him ina few minutes post the codes
