Default ok im confused

read the FAQs and waht not, but still cant figure something out.
say i get my car tuned on EC Tune, but my tuner doesnt have the tuner version so i get the pro version. i know they need to use an ostrich for calibrations while its being tuned, but after its tuned, do i need to leave the ostrich hooked up to my ECU? if so, whats the point of having it chipped? and is it like that with all programs like crome, etc? i

with the pro version, the ostrich will have to stay with the ecu and car. with the pro version, you cannot save it as a bin. with the tuner version, you can save it as a bin and burn.

crome you can burn and chip. only one ectune tuner listed in california. you'll have to contact them or bring your car to them to tune on ectune or get tuned elsewhere. did you look up neptune tuners in socal? i'm sure there are hondata dealers in socal as well.

trying to save money, and i heard i could accomplish the same with ECtune as i coudl with hondata/neptune rtp. heard different things about crome pro. heard that it was all in the tuner not the program but ive also heard that its unreliable.
might just go the demon 2 route, that replaces the ostrich right?
or is it possible to hide the ostrich inside of the ecu? just dont want it outside floating around incase a cop pulls me over and decides to check for whatever.

The demon is definitely a good choice if you want to do some tuning yourself. The demon fits right inside the ecu and requires no modification to the case to fit it in. It will look completely stock from the outside.
