Default GSR Turbo Project ???'s

So I am currently starting my build for boost, and I have a few questions/opinions needed about a few things. First off i have read a few different things about headgaskets, I was wondering if i should go with a thicker headgasket and what thickness, but i have heard people having problems when they use a thicker head gaskets and oem might be the best. Also I plan on changing pistons to around a 9.0-1 compression piston but with the stock bore size, what are the best bang for your buck pistons for boost apps out there and rods. And i was thinking of either getting a block guard or getting it sleeved, im not sure which one would be the most pratical for my application. And for cams I have seen great results with blox b's and skunk2 pro 1's but blox cams are quite a bit cheaper and not sure if the skunk2's are worth it, the valve train will be upgraded with supertech springs and retainers. I am looking to run around 15 psi and it still be a daily driver.
And hopefully on a good tune with 450whp. All help is appreciated and if anyone has any suggestions or anything please dont hesitate to say whatever it is.

I summarized the questions
1 Most people run OEM, thicker is not needed.
2 There are alot of options, just look around in the site classifieds.
3 Probaby overkill
4 Have not used either one.

I'm not a pro but in the process of building a 450 whp build.

OEM head gasket

EAGLE RODS are cheap and fine for your goals(or just shotpeened stock rods) also most forged pistons are nice just find a deal on a reputable brand. wiesco, arias, etc

SLEEVED if you want the extra safety (if not don't use the either block guard or sleeved just go with pistons and a good tune.) Plenty of people have made power with stock sleeves.

For 450 whp all you really need is gsr cams or type r if you want you can save the money there

Look for deals in here on honda-tech

got my block from someone selling it on HT here for $1500 with

RS sleeved 83 mm ls block
crower rods
arias pistons
acl race bearing
micro polished ls crank
fully assembled.

An my b16 head with supertech valve train for like 450

look around the classifieds you will be surprised what you can find. Now just saving for the turbo set up and be ready to go
