reving slow after 7K...
Today, my s2000 has been running very rich (10.1) just cruising but not all day some times it would be at 13-14.2. I floored 1st gear and it felt normal until 7,000RPM, it was like I hit a brink wall in the power band. I then shifted into 2nd gear and it reved all the way to 9,000 no problem at all. I floored 1st gear again and it reved all the way to 9,000 then I shifted to 2nd gear no problem. I dont lose boost and the turbo spools like normal. Driving home the A/F was all over the place. It was 65 and nice out all day perfect weather and Ive had it out on hotter days.
from 11:00 to 11:15 it was around 10.1 to 12-00
from 11:15ish to 11:25 it was 13.5 to 14.2
from 11:25 to 11:35 it was 11.0 to 13.0
from 11:35 till when I got home at 11:45 it was at the normal A/F levels 13-14
cliff notes
The motor has 71,500 miles
boosts on 7PSI
no smoke
no weird sounds coming from motor
no blow back
hardly a drop of oil burnt
from 11:00 to 11:15 it was around 10.1 to 12-00
from 11:15ish to 11:25 it was 13.5 to 14.2
from 11:25 to 11:35 it was 11.0 to 13.0
from 11:35 till when I got home at 11:45 it was at the normal A/F levels 13-14

"it was like I hit a brick wall in the powerband"---that makes it sound like boost cut. What were your afr' at wide open throttle?
one of my friends is coming over to my house and im gonna boost a few times on a back road and put it on youtube.

careful, brick wall might be kinda dangerous. make sure you're in the clear kyle. i meant for the backroads, make sure you're in the open where you're safe.
AFR's are those from a wideband? should be around 14.7 throughout
if it didn't boost and it was at 11-13:1 it might just be choking up top because its not receiving enough air.

Check your vacuum lines. Oh and I don't know if happens to an s2000 too, but AEM ems has a problem with their CAS(cam angle sensor). The stock cas doesn't handle too well with the aem ems under heavy loads. Aem STRONGLY SUGGESTS to buy their aem cas and it eliminates the problem. That's why my car hits a wall at 6500 while it was getting tuned. I'm just waiting for my aem cas so I can finally tune it the right way. Aem cas is $30 fyi and you have to order it from aem. AGAIN I don't know if its the same with s2ks, but from my research I think ALL THE AEM EMS have this cas problem.

oh yeah you're on a wideband, ill take a look later to see what values are in my tune in peak boost. the CAS problem would make sense too since no Kpro owners get that
its time to make the switch kyle. KPRO OR NO GO.

I wish I would of done Kpro
Im getting it re tuned tuesday. The tuner said it could be a coil pack if its not the tune.

I'm guessing its the cas. If you search for aem cas problem it'll show up. Actually if you buy a new aem ems now I think it comes with a new cas wheel. I should've bought haltech for my s13 damn't.
I'm really hoping so, I just made all the reachable ones tighter. I would say it was very lose but it could of been A LOT tighter. I couldn't get to two of the couplers so I'm going to take my lip off tomorrow and get those. I'm also going to the shop and have it re tuned Tuesday if that doesnt fix it...
my turbine isnt spinning
I just turned my car on before work and looked under the hood and sure enough the turbine wasnt moving! WTF!!!!!!
This is the turbo I have on my car

cliff notes
oil in car
no shaft play at all
EDIT!
I just turned my car on and the turbine was spinning. Once it warmed up I went out and boosted a few times and at 8,000 RPMs it would get to rich again the AEM wide band said 10.0 but I think it was lower

thats very odd. why would your turbine NOT spin, then spin afterwards? Atleast you arent running very lean. When you turned the car on and the turbine didnt spin, did you drive it at all? I know this might also sound weird but any weirdness in your WG?
Have you ever figured the problem out? I'm having the same issue. Mine was running great for two months after my tune and then all the sudden felt like it was hitting a rev limiter at 7500 rpms. Tune was check and nothings wrong with it. Upgraded coils and changed plugs.
