Default Question about how my boost comes on in each gear.

Alrighty I have a T25 on my engine when Im at the track my boost comes on as follows

1st gear= 7-8psi
2nd gear= 10psi
3rd gear= 10-11psi
4th gear= the same as third and then levels out at about 9psi or so

Im running a Hallman ES MBC. If Im out on the street and do a 3rd or 4th gear pull it will hit 13psi and hold there for a short while then fall off to about 10psi. But that is on the highway or something and not while at the strip racing.

Is this normal for a T25? It seems that my car wasnt making its normal power today but then again it could have just been me.

Default Re: Question about how my boost comes on in each gear. (ringgold)

YOUR BOOST WILL VARY DEPENDING ON GEAR AND RPM,
REASON WHY IS CAUSE WHILE UR SHIFTIN GEARS UR BABY TURBO CANT STABILIZE BOOST CAUSE THE LOAD ISNT CONSTANT TURBOS WORK OFF LOAD NOT JUST EXUAST PRESSURE OR RPM THATS WHY IN THE HIGHER GEARS UR BOOST IS MORE THE SAME CAUSE THE LONGER GEARS LET IT STABILIZE, UR PROBLY RUNNIN THE ACTUATOR STYLE WASTEGATE THOSE SUCK AND RESPOND SLOW ANOTHER REASON WHY YOUR BOOST GOES HIGH THEN DROPS ALITTLE, I RECOMEND AN EXTERNAL WASTEGATE EX DELTAGATE ,TIAL ETC ETC.....
